Their newborn baby boy was alert, calm, and totally content the entire time. He was wide-eyed and so curious about the world around him—it was incredible to capture that quiet, watchful presence in such a peaceful space. His big sister stole the show more than once with her big personality and even bigger heart. Not only did she want all the pictures with her baby brother (hello, cutest sibling snuggles ever), but she also became my mini assistant, helping me “take pictures” on my fancy camera and cracking up the whole family with her silly faces behind the scenes.

Big brother brought the energy! He had a short photo attention span, but we made the most of every minute.
