His two big brothers were incredibly sweet, taking turns holding him and smiling proudly. Their family pup even joined in for a few photos, making the portraits even more meaningful.

Mom wanted light, clean, and simple newborn images. We set up in a room with light walls, a cream bed, soft white bedding, and windows that poured in the most beautiful natural light. The soft tones created a calm and timeless backdrop, letting the focus stay on baby and his family.

Baby wore an adorable fitted outfit that mom had picked out. Tight-fitting outfits are always a favorite for newborn photography because they keep baby from looking like they’re drowning in fabric. I always remind parents—whatever you want baby to wear is perfect, because these are your memories. I also bring swaddles to give a variety of looks while keeping baby cozy.
